With help from his Saddle Brook colleagues, a Franklin Lakes police detective identified and arrested a Wayne man who stole landscaping equipment, authorities said.
Franklin Lakes police arrested two men this week in unrelated matters -- a Paterson man for child support and a Maplewood man for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the high school parking lot.

Newton was released pending a court hearing, Capt. John Bakelaar said.
